Fabric Frenzy Friday

Happy Friday friends! I hope you all had a good week!!  I am excited about this week's bundle!! I had a lot of fun coming up with some projects with these saturated oranges! :)  I actually don't have a lot of orange in my stash, and so these colorful oranges were so fun to work with!  Be sure to scroll down to see my projects I made with this yummy bundle!

Oh My Darling, Clementine - Fat Quarter Bundle

Oh My Darling, Clementine is this week's Bundle Batch!  This bundle is loaded with citrus oranges.

Fat Quarter & Half Yard bundles include 8 different prints.
10 inch squares - each pack contains 16 squares (2 of each print listed below)
Included in each bundle:
  1. Blueberry Park Mum Kumquat - Robert Kaufman
  2. Essentials Dots Tangerine - Moda
  3. Melba Gum Nuts Orange - Ella Blue
  4. Grunge Basics Tangerine - Moda
  5. Ta Dot Tangerine - Michael Miller
  6. Painters Canvas Tangerine - Michael Miller
  7. Stitched Circles Orange - Michael Miller
  8. Olivia Orange Scroll - Penny Rose

Oh My Darling, Clementine - 10" Squares

My first project is this Orange Slice Mug Rug!  With all of those orange prints, I just couldn't stop thinking about an actual orange! So I came up with this cheery mug rug! You could substitute the batting and use some Insult-Bright and make pot holders!

Supplies:

Cutting:
  • From background: 12" x 12" square
  • From orange: 8 orange slices (backed with fusible web)

This next project was a team effort,  my mom helped me come up with this fun Flying Geese Topper.  I actually sewed it into a pillow - but thought it looked fun as a table topper too! :)

Supplies

Cutting:

  • Out of background:
  • 16 - 3.5" squares
  • 4 - 2.5" x 12.5" strips
  • Out of orange:
  • 8 - 6.5" x 3.5" rectangles
  • 16 - 1.5" squares

Now you can turn this into a pillow, or just quilt it as a mini quilt!  I turned mine into a pillow - but ended up liking it better as a table topper! :)

Now that we shared our fabric for the week, we want to see yours!

Here is your chance to link up anything to do with fabric! You can link up finished quilts, a work in progress, a new fabric you just bought, a project made with fabric, or maybe you just want to show off some of your stash.  Anything goes--as long as it has to do with fabric!

love what you have done with that orange fabric - I took a finish off of my quilting frame and got a new top on it.

Love your oranges.... I used to hate orange and now I like it in all of its varieties. The little quilts look darling in orange.

I love orange also but most of my orange stash is fall-ish. I recently began looking for citrus themes in yellow and orange. I found some lovely batiks.

Love your fabric choices and the patterns, especially the orange mug rug. One note--your typo, Insult Bright was very humorous. I'm trying to think of a product that I could give that name to.

Love the orange slices but I like the lemon slices better. Thanks for sharing the darling ideas. Linda
